Day 1: DELHI
Morning after a relaxed breakfast
We will take you for a Heritage Tour through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. Your leader would be your guide who would unfold the colorful history of Old Delhi which goes back thousands of years. Visit Chandani Chowk---Silver Square (Once the centre of Delhi), to the various places of interest- just as the Royal Mughals would have done centuries ago. To name a few are Maulana Azad Tomb, Jama Masjid- India ’s largest mosque, Dariba Kalan (The Silver Bazaar), Kinari Bazaar, Paranthawalla Gali...
You will also visit The Red Fort(Monday Closed) (Delhi's most magnificent monument was built by Emperor Shah Jehan.Some of the buildings it encloses are Diwani-am,Diwani-Khas, Rang Mahal,The Pearl Mosque etc.) and Raj Ghat ( Set in the midst of deep green lawns, Rajghat is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. A memorial to the father of the nation, Rajghat is a simple square platform with a black memorial stone with "Hey Ram" inscribed on it. "Hey Ram" were the last words uttered by the Mahatma before collapsing after being shot at).
Afternoon proceed for a guided tour of New Delhi covering Rashtrapati Bhawan (is the official residence of the President of India. Formerly the residence of the Viceroy of India, it has a magnificent view of the Rajpath and symmetrical North and South block Govt offices), India Gate (is a majestic high arch,42 metres high, built as a memorial to the Indian Soldiers killed in world war 1).
Post sightseeing return to your hotel. Spend the evening free at leisure.
Day 2: DELHI SURFACE
JAIPUR 265 Kms
Morning after breakfast relaxed breakfast drive to Jaipur
Afternoon sight seeing includes visits to The City Palace (In the heart of the old city, it occupies a large area divided into a series if courtyards, gardens & buildings. It's a blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. A portion of which has been converted into museum housing royal artifacts art, carpets, enamelware & old weapons) and Jantar Mantar (or observatory built by the astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh. It is the largest and the best preserved of the 5 he built).
Back to your hotel in the evening. Overnight at Hotel
Day 3: JAIPUR SURFACE
Morning after breakfast we will take you to a guided excursion to Amber Fort (The classical romantic Rajasthan Fort palace. It's construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592 and completed by his descendant Jai Singh I. Its rugged forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate refinement.Painted scenes of hunting and war adorn the walls with precious stones and mirrors set into the plaster.In the foreground is the Maota Lake with breath taking reflections of the magnificent Amber Palace). Also enjoy Elephant Ride while climbing up atop of the hill of Amber Fort.

Day 4: JAIPUR SURFACE
AGRA 205 Kms
Morning after breakfast drive to Agra .
Agra (Agra was once the capital of the Mughal empire and even today it seems to linger in the past. Not surprising, for the Mughal emperors with their passion for building, endowed the city with some of the finest structures in the world. It is very easy to slip away here through the centuries into the grandeur and intrigues of the Mughal court. Agra is an old city and it is said that its name was derived from Agrabana, a forest thats finds mention in the epic. In more recent times Agra came into prominence when Sikandar Lodi made it his capital city in 1501. The Lodi rule was to end very soon and Agra passed into the possession of the Mughals. It was during the time of the third emperor Akbar that Agra came into its own).
En route visit Fatehpur Sikri (40 kms west of Agra, is built a city predominantly in Red Sandstone and is called Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri was built by the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar during 1570 and 1585. It is one of the finest examples of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Fatehpur Sikri Mosque is said to be a copy of the mosque in Mecca and has designs, derived from the Persian & Hindu architecture).

Day 5: AGRA SURFACE D:1030 HRS

Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Taj Mahal (Taj Mahal is the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage. Defined as "A Tear on the Face of Eternity", this white-splendored tomb was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his favourite wife, Arjumand Banu Begum, better known as Mumtaz Mahal ("Chosen of the Palace"). The unique moghal style architecture combines elements & styles of Persian, Central Asian, and Islamic architecture. Most striking are the black and white chessboard marble floor, the four tall minarets (40 m high) at the corners of the structure, and the majestic grand dome in the middle. On closer inspection, the lettering of the Holy Quran verses around the archways appear to be uniform. The lettering spacing and density has been customized to give this impression to the viewer. The impressive pietra dura artwork includes geometric elements & style, plants & flowers, which are common in Islamic architecture).
The Agra Fort (Near the gardens of the Taj Mahal stands the important 16th-century Mughal monument known as the Red Fort of Agra. More often than not, the Agra Fort is overshadowed by the pristine beauty of the Taj, but for those looking for something beyond romance, the Agra Fort is worth seeing. Situated on the bank of river Yamuna, the Agra Fort today, stands as a citadel of the past that has witnessed centuries .
Later return to Delhi for taking the onward flight .
